Information for Passengers

United Express is dedicated to making sure your travel experience at the Johnstown Airport is a positive one.If you have further questions or concerns please call the Airport Authority Office at 814-536-0002 EXT 2 or visit their office located in the Terminal opposite the ticket counter. Airport Authority hours of operation from 7:00AM-3:30PM. The Johnstown Airport terminal is open daily from 5:00AM-11:00PM.

Travel Tips

  • Book your flights at least 3 weeks in advance. Fares increase closer to your departure date.
  • When you find a good fare, book it! Fares can change several times a day.
  • Book directly through the airline’s website. If ticket prices change between bookings and departure the difference can usually be refunded.
  • Direct booking also allows better seats and ways to address flight delays, changes, or cancellations.

Parking at the Airport

Johnstown Airport offers free parking just steps from the terminal.  The parking area accommodates 100+ vehicles and is monitored and well-lit for safety.  You can feel safe and secure using our free, long-term parking.

Ticket and Flight Information

All flights to and from our airport are via United Express. With flights to Chicago O’Hare (ORD) and Dullus International (IAD), our airport offers you easy access to any destination, domestic or international.Passengers are encouraged to arrive 45 minutes prior to the scheduled flight departure. This gives you plenty of time to park, check-in and pass through the security checkpoint. For up to date flight scheduling information, please view the schedule. Baggage

Each passenger is allowed to board with one carry-on bag and one personal item (purse, briefcase, laptop computer). All other baggage must be checked. It is best to keep undeveloped film, cameras and other delicate items in your carry-on bag to avoid damage by screening equipment.

Security

All departing passengers are subject to routine security screening before being permitted to board the aircraft. At the Johnstown Airport, your convenience is one of our key goals. Our efficient security process will have you sitting comfortable in your seat as quickly as possible.

Within the airport terminal you will have access to complimentary water and coffee and also find vending machines for snacks and drinks. This includes a machine after the TSA checkpoint for beverages during flight.
